Now that you mentioned I went to check that. It seems to work as described in the article. They have paid themes but this one is free. You can download it for free without having to buy the paid themes.

It is free, do not let the word Purchased items trick you. I had the same problem, I thought it needs to be paid, but not, it is 100% free. Just follow the article step by step and you can download it.
