Hi Manuel,
I m new to the php programming and do not know much about how POP3 and IMAP works.
Now my team leader has assigned me this task of processing incoming mail she want the content of the mail should be stored in database.
I dont know from where to start. We use horde web mail client which support both POP3 and IMAP.
My problem is i want to process the mail as soon as it arrives but not with the method which you have described in the article i.e starting php script when mail arrives and she dont want the latter method.

So please help in finding a different way to solve this...

Regards

The article also talks about what you need in the section name "Starting a PHP script on message arrival".
